PROPERTIES FOR SALE – NORWALK, CT

The City of Norwalk will conduct a TAX SALE of tax delinquent properties on Monday, July 21, 2008 beginning at 4 pm at the Norwalk City Hall Concert Hall, 125 East Avenue, Norwalk (I-95, exit 16).  Properties being offered for sale include: single and multi family residential properties; various commercial properties; a strip mall; garage units; condominium units; and vacant land. Each property will be sold separately.  The sale is open to the public.  A $5,000 deposit is required to register to bid, and bidder registration begins at 3 pm.   Visit www.norwalkct.org and click on Tax Bills / Collector for photographs of the properties and more information on the sale.  Potential bidders can purchase a packet for $15 to obtain detailed instructions on bidding, copies of relevant state laws, and more information about the tax sale process.   For more information contact the Norwalk Tax Collector’s Office at 203 854 7932.
