CTx 2008 Seminar Vendor Information

The Connecticut Tax Collectors’ Association Inc. is pleased to announce the dates for our upcoming 2008 seminar.  The seminar will be held at the Hartford Marriott Farmington, CT located at 48 Farms Springs Road, Farmington, CT   March 26 through March 28, 2008. 

Reservations for space in the exhibitor’s area will be accepted through February 22, 2008.  The cost for vendors is $600.00.  Please submit two names from your company to Lisa Theroux, CTX Assistant Treasurer at: ltheroux@townofcantonct.org by February 1, 2008.  Name tags will be distributed upon your arrival at the seminar.  Also, participation in the seminar will enable your company name to appear on the CT Tax Collectors’ Association web site.  This amount also includes continental breakfast and lunch for two on Wednesday and Thursday and two (2) dinners for Thursday evening's Banquet.  Additional banquet tickets are available for $45.00 each.  

If you require electricity or internet access please set this up with the hotel directly.  All fees and arrangements should be paid to and made with the hotel directly.  Please contact Robin Taraskewich directly, she can be reached via email robin.taraskewich@marriottsales.com or fax her at 860-676-0025.  The hotel rate is $100.00 per day for wireless internet access.

All exhibitors should make checks payable to:  Connecticut Tax Collectors’ Association and mail full payment to Lisa Theroux, CCMC, P.O. Box 168, Collinsville, CT  06022-0168 by February 25, 2008.  Also enclosed is information on program advertisement.  If you would like to advertise in the program please contact Philomena Chiodo before February 10th.  Her email address is:  philomenachiodo@sbcglobal.net.  If you plan to stay at the hotel and would like to get our group rate, your room reservations must be made through Debra Guerrette, Plainville Tax Collector.  Debra can be reached at 860-793-0221 X237:  Fax 860-793-2285:  or e-mail:  guerrette@plainville-ct.gov.  If you decide to make the reservations directly with the hotel, you will be charged the regular hotel rate. Once you have reserved exhibitor space for the seminar, a detailed follow up including a seminar program, directions to the hotel, table/space size, set up-times, etc will be mailed.
